On 24 February 2000, the Multi-angle Imaging SpectroRadiometer (MISR) instrument aboard NASA's Terra satellite took this image of Sonora, Mexico and Baja California. This is a true-color view from the MISR camera looking 26 degrees ahead of straight down toward Earth. It was acquired during the spacecraft's 996th orbit. The data for this image were mapped to a Space Oblique Mercator projection.
