Biography:
Anne Nolin received the M.S. degree in Soils, Water, and Engineering, from the University of Arizona and a Ph.D. in Geography from the University of California-Santa Barbara. She serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Geosciences, Oregon State University. From 1993-2003, Dr. Nolin worked as research scientist at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Her scientific interests focus on snow and ice in the climate system, particularly with regard to climate change and water resources. She is a member of the MISR Science team and also serves on the Space Studies Board/Committee on Earth Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences.
